Battle of Britain: make a 303 Squadron WWII plane

June 30 2010

Do you like paper planes as much as we do?

Here's one for you to make courtesy of the great design team at fishinabottle - what an amazing job they have - making games and interactives every day. Thanks guys!

Download your World War Two 303 Squadron paper plane.

It takes a little while to download but is worth the wait.

Battle of Britain: 303 Squadron - the latest game from Channel 4?

Screenshot from Channel 4 303 Squadron game showing WWII Spitfires fighting German Luftwaffe planes in the sky with the countryside and fields, hedges, hills and trees beneath.

The game is part of Channel 4's tv series called The Untold Battle of Britain.

Did you know that the 303 Squadron was made up of Polish pilots and they helped us win the Battle of Britain against the Germans?

This year is the 70th anniversary of the Battle of Britain which took place in World War Two.

The Battle of Britain was when the German Luftwaffe (planes) attacked Britain and the Royal Airforce (RAF) fought back and won!

Tell your teacher about it so you can study it in class - and get to play the game too...
