Umlando Wezithombe are a company of comic book artists from Johannesburg, South Africa. They have created a series of comics about Nelson Mandela, an incredibly important figure in South Africa's history.
Nelson Mandela was an anti-apartheid campaigner who was jailed from 1964-1990 for his revolutionary activities. After his release in 1990 he went on to serve as South Africa's President from 1994-1999.
You can see the artists at work as they draw, ink and colour the comics, and eventually over a million copies of each comic are printed.
