What is Pop Art

  • Intro
    Teacher notes
    • Pop Art really took off in the 1950s and is certainly very different from other types of art that came before.

When we think of Pop Art we think of bright colours and bold shapes, but what really is Pop Art?

Our friends at Tate Kids have made this great video to introduce you to this exciting art form.
    • This video is made specifically for kids and is a great introduction to the ideas and key artists behind Pop Art.

It plays from YouTube and is about 4 and a half minutes long.
