- Havering Museum is an independent local history museum which opened in part of the old Brewery building in Romford town centre in May 2010. The Museum is supported by a Heritage Lottery Grant. It tells the story of the history of the Borough of Havering through objects, text and images. There are five special areas dedicated to Havering-atte-Bower, Hornchurch, Romford, Rainham and Upminster. Havering Museum also runs activities, clubs and programmes of events aimed at all ages and all sections of the community.
