- Glasgow Museums Resource Centre (GMRC) is the main store for Glasgow Museums. We store the parts of the collection not currently on display in one of our other 8 Museums. The collections housed here include art, sculpture, natural history, transport & technology, world cultures and much more! We are publicly accessible but booking is essential. At GMRC you can: · Take a guided tour around the store - you can enjoy a free guided tour of some of the 800,000 objects on display every day, seven days a week. Tours leave at 2.30pm from reception. We offer a range of general, themed and specialist tours. · Organise a tailor-made tour that meet the needs and interest of your group. GMRC is also the home for the outreach service for Glasgow Museums which offers handling and reminiscence kits for loan, and temporary exhibits for display.
