Our award winning building is situated on the banks of the River Thames, a short walk from the centre of Henley on Thames. The River & Rowing Museum has three galleries dedicated to Rowing, Rivers and the history of Henley on Thames. The Museum is home to the magical Wind in the Willows exhibition, which brings to life the much-loved story with 3D models, lighting and music. There are lots of family events and workshops, check our website for an up to date programme, including information about visiting exhibitions. There are also various function rooms and a fantastic café - the perfect place to unwind, whilst enjoying meadow views, with a fantastic selection of delicious home-made dishes, freshly prepared from seasonal ingredients. With a constantly evolving calendar of temporary art and photography exhibitions and a year-round calendar of nature trails, craft workshops and family days, there is always something new to see and do.
