Thanks for sending in your pictures!

June 29 2009

Show Me fans have been sending in their pictures and we thought you'd like to see their lovely works of art!

Showing a drawing by a child of a footballer.

Ivan and Oscar are twins. They are 5 years old and their grandma, Jacqueline, sent in their fab football pictures.

This is Ivan's picture. What a happy footballer, Ivan! We like his blond hair.

Is it a famous footballer or is it a self-portrait of you, Ivan?

Here is Oscar's very sporty looking picture. It's very colourful.

There is so much going in your picture, Oscar, that we could look at it for a long time! Well done.

Showing a colourful football drawing by a child.

Showing a colourful drawing of a red and green dragon by a child.

Oooh! Here's a scary dragon by Rebecca, aged 8.

Watch out - it looks like it may be a real fire-breathing dragon.

It reminds us of the dragon on the BBC series Merlin. Do you watch that Rebecca?

Or how about these prehistoric creatures by Lewis?

Our favourite is the one that looks like a cross between a little elephant and a fish swimming along at the bottom of the picture.

On the back of the pic, Lewis labelled his 'Postremo period' drawing but we've had to divide it in two so you can see everything...

Showing a drawing of dinosaurs in the water by a child.

Showing the second part of the dinosaur drawing.

Here goes:

(middle) Rostrumosaurous (beaked lizard)
(bottom, middle) Piscismammoth (mammoth fish)
(left, top) Cuspisodon (pointy lizard)
(right, top) Spiketergum (spiked back)
(right, bottom) Torqueomonaster (curled monster).

Hi-yah! Carla's picture makes us feel like doing some high kicks but then again it's a bit hot for too much jumping around today!

Drawing of a girl in a karate outfit.

Drawing of a weightlifter.

Carla is 10 years old and has drawn a great weight lifter too. Just like the ones in the Beijing Olympics last year.

We don't know how they can lift weights that heavy.

Hope you enjoyed all these super Show Me surfers' pictures?

Why not send in your drawings? Get in touch and we'll see if we can publish them on Show Me.

Till then - enjoy the sunshine!
