You've got in touch!

Here's a round-up of recent Show Me surfers' emails.

Robert Bone emailed Show Me to ask if there's any Roald Dahl at Buckinghamshire County Museum.

Robert says, "... if it is true, that's great. I loved his book about the Monkey, Giraffe and that bird with the giant beak being window washers for the queen!"

Showing photo of the outside of the Roald Dahl Gallery with a big drawing of the BFG.

Well, Robert, here's a pic of The Roald Dahl Children's Gallery at Buckinghamshire County Museum.

Let us know if you ever pay it a visit.

Robert adds, "Also about your topic with boys and computers, I do think girls read more then boys. I read on most days on the bus to school, which really helps me a lot. My fav book is Monkey by Veronica Bennett, it really got to me and I see the world in a whole new perspective now."

(This is 10 year old Show Me surfer Arthur reading).

Why not read a review of the book, Monkey by Veronica Bennett, on the cool-reads website?

Here's a wonderful poem by Nabil called Space:
Inter dimensional matter transporter
Aliens designed to only slaughter
Space and time an infinite apart
The universe is like a work of art
Supernovas always exploding
Supercomputers always overloading
Light and darkness forming an alliance
The universe is a mysterious science
Dimension gates always forming
On earth there is global warming
A voyage of discovery by travelling in space
The most exciting thing in the human race
Space is everything from a flower to a bee
Some people like space and that includes me!

" hi my name is declan crewe iam nine years old i love art and would like to know if there are any competitions i could send my drawings to?"

Show Me surfers - we'll let keep you posted about any competitions we find out about.

In the meantime, why don't you share your art with the world on Tate Kids' My Gallery?
