Paige And Kayleigh's Tall Tales

August 18 2008

We were really pleased to get these fantastic stories sent in this week. Not only stories, but illustrations too!

First up is seven-year-old Kayleigh...

A child's drawing of two people, a tree, a house and a huge blue dinosaur.

A child's drawing of a smiling person reaching up to touch a blue dinosaur's head.

'There once was some cave men. They lived in a tree house. One day they fell on the floor into dinosor land.

One of the cave men made friend's with Stanly the dinosor. They lived with Stanly for ever.

The end '

We can really imagine Stanley the big blue dinosaur and his human friends meeting up - they look very happy don't they?

Cool house for a caveman too Kayleigh!

A child's drawing of a person, a tree and a house with part of a blue dinosaur visible.

A child's drawing of two dinosaurs, one blue, one green, with a smiling sun and a girl in a frilly dress.

Next up is Paige's story. We don't know for sure but we reckon Paige and Kayleigh might be sisters. Twins even? Paige is seven as well.

Paige brings a green dinosaur along as well as a blue one for her story...

'Once a Dinosor called Ronny lived, he was happy. A little human girl went back in time to live.

She bumped into a T rex. Ronny saved her. They had many fun with Ronny and was not scard anymore and lived hapily in the wild.

The end.'

Look at that snarling T Rex - very scary.

Child's drawing of a blue dinosaur, with sharp teeth. standing on its hind legs.

A child's drawing of a smiling sun, a girl in a frilly dress and a huge green dinosaur.

And here's Ronny, coming to the little girl's rescue.

We loved reading your very imaginative stories Paige and Kayleigh, and seeing the great pictures. Thank you for sending them in.

Anyone else fancy writing a dinosaur story? Take a look at our Dinosaur Story page for inspiration. Or perhaps you could Invent A Dinosaur instead?

Don't miss the games and fun on our main Dinosaurs page either.
