Marcie & Waggie

September 14 2007

Marcie, who's aged four and is from Inverness, has sent in this great drawing of her granny and Waggie the dog.

We think it's great and really colourful.

You can see Waggie here, looking happy to be out for a walk.

We think Waggie might have been running around because it looks like he's hot and there's lots of heat coming off his back!

Here's granny who has been taking Waggie for a walk and wearing a wonderful multicoloured scarf.

Marcie has also sent in a photo of her and Waggie at home - Waggie looks really happy to be with Marcie on the sofa.

Marcie's been really busy, because she's also written a fairy story for us - here it is…

"Once upon a time a fairy lost her wings. She was very sad. Hope was at hand.

467249= all the flies in the forest who had 4 wings each.

They said to the fairy: don't be sad, we'll all give you one of our wings. They joined all the wings with resin + magic charms.

The happy fairy flew away."

Thanks so much for sending in your pictures and story Marcie - there's a Crayola present on its way to you.

If anyone else has a favourite pet and fancy making a drawing or painting of it, then we'd love to see it - get in touch!
