Fun with science - it's all hands-on here, so perfect for a family visit.


Worcestershire County Museum, Hartlebury, Nr Kidderminster

This museum is housed in the servants quarters of Hartlebury Castle. There's loads to see here, including a fire engine, hansom cab, bicycles, carts and lots of Gypsy caravans.

Don't miss the museum's collection of toys from the past 200 years.


Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery

You'll find paintings, sculpture, archaeological treasures and lots more here. The Human History Gallery is extra special.

Don't miss How Art Is Made. Some of the museum's best-loved treasures are brought to life in a fab exhibition which shows you how art is created.


Coventry Transport Museum

Coventry is famous for building great cars. If you're into wheels then this is the museum for you.

Blist’s Hill Victorian Town, Telford, Shropshire.

Travel back in time to this small Victorian town, which has a bank, grocer’s shop, chemist, printing shop, bakers and sweetshop, offices and factories!


Wolverhampton Art Gallery

Sensing Sculpture is the gallery's fantastic tactile (touchable) sculpture court, where you can explore sculpture through touch, smell, sound and environment as well as sight.

In the Georgian Room you can sit, listen, touch and ‘experience’ life in the 1700s, inspired by the paintings on the walls and the Georgian furniture. Explore the past by delving into pull-out drawers and secret compartments!

Dudley Museum and Art Gallery

There is something for everyone here. If you're an art lover they have art exhibitions. And if you are a budding geologist, they have a huge collection of fossils.


Enginuity, Telford, Shropshire

The exhibits here will inspire you and your family to became apprentice engineers for the day! You're free to experiment with the gadgets and know how they're used to design and make things we see and use every day.

Pull a real locomotive, pitch yourself against the speed and accuracy of a robot, or work as a team to run the Crazy Boiler - but beware the consequences, as it may run out of control!

Nuneaton and Bedworth Museum and Art Gallery

On the first Saturday of each month (except January), from 10.30am to 4pm, there are events aimed at both children and adults - here you can see kids at a badge-making workshop.

It's FREE to join in but you must be accompanied by a grown-up.
