We should contact aliens say some scientists

January 25 2010

Hello anybody out there? This is Earth calling!

Some important astronomers (space scientists) are now saying we should start beaming signals into space to see if there really are aliens - or what they call intelligent life out there.

Dr Marke Kukula, public astronomer at the Royal Observatory, part of the National Maritime Museum in London would like to make contact with friendly aliens but he warned "there is no evidence" that they will be good. Yikes!

So what do you think? Is it too much of a risk to get in touch with life forms from outer space?

Get in touch with us here at Show Me with your thoughts and while you're at it, why not send in your alien pictures?

We know how much you love games, so here's a link to our space games round-up - including Orby (right) in the Blast Off! game from Eureka.
