Red Nose Day 2009

March 13 2009

Bet you've never seen a Roman Emperor with a red nose before?!

The Roman Baths in Bath is just one of the great places to visit that is supporting Red Nose Day - Friday March 13 2009.

Stephen Clews, Curator of the Roman Baths, said:

"...we had a joke about having the Emperors and Generals 'picking their noses' in public."

He added, "...it's important to show that even the Romans had a sense of humour..!"

You can't get much bigger - and redder - than a castle.

This is Castle Coch in Wales.

So even buildings can do something for Red Nose Day 2009.

Here are some other places that are going red for Red Nose Day 2009:

and the Cerne Abbas Giant.
