Patent Your Brainwaves

Above: Professor Branestawm illustration by W. Heath Robinson.

James Watt had one of those brains that just couldn't help being inventive.

Perhaps your brain is like that too? Are you always coming up with good ideas that astound your friends?

An artist named W. Heath Robinson, who was born in 1872 and died in 1944, had a peculiar talent for invention.

He said of himself: 'I really have a secret satisfaction in being considered rather mad.' The picture above shows a potato-peeling invention.

We'd like you to get creative and come up with wild and funny inventive ideas.

If you send your drawings in to us we'll give any that we really like the show.me.uk seal of approval and post them up on the site.
