Longheadmouth

Show Me surfer Jamie, who is six, has someone he'd like us to meet. We're honoured to introduce you to Longheadmouth the dinosaur - bit by bit...

Longheadmouth has big sturdy legs - he needs them, as he's 5 metres tall and 60 metres long, and weighs 30 tons!

Longheadmouth's long arms help him keep steady when stretching up high.

Child's crayon drawing of a dinosaur with a very long head

Longheadmouth eats plants, and his very long head helps him to reach into trees and bushes to snap up his food.

Longheadmouth is SO HUGE that to you'll have to go to another page to see him all in one piece!

As far as we know, Longheadmouth didn't exist - he's come from Jamie's fantastic imagination. But scientists are still discovering dinosaurs they didn't know about before - so watch this space!

Show Me's dinosaur section is a great way of finding out about these fascinating beasts.

You can also find out more about all sorts of dinosaurs on the Natural History Museum's dinosaur pages.

We'd love to more of your dinosaurs. Why don't you send us one of your drawings? We'd love to hear from you!
