In 1577 a history book was published called 'The Chronicles of England, Scotland and Ireland', written by a chap called Holinshed.

He claimed that Henry VIII ordered the executions of seventy-two thousand people during his reign. That's an awful lot of people.

Do you know how many of those were his wives? Being a royal wife in Tudor times wasn't exactly fun.

See if you can find out how many women Henry married, and what happened to them.

There are stories of heads being cut off, affairs, divorces and love in Henry's history, it's all well worth a look.
